I don’t want to imagine Lucy as an adult, she would be a person who would demand things in a rude way, it would not be pleasant to deal with her.

Four wheel indoor skates are not optimal for outdoor use. A simple pavement crack can cause you to go down like a buffalo shot with a 10 gauge gun. Roller blades are a lot safer to use outdoors, along with protective gear. Hope you learned a valuable lesson Lucy, but not likely.

Reminds me of the Nursing Home that forbade its “nurses” (or anyone else) from performing CPR under any circumstances. That forced the nurses to let a woman die while the 911 operator pleaded for someone to do the CPR. The nursing home was so afraid of getting sued.

Why LAST AID rather than FIRST AID?

My wife is a nurse. We always carry her “kit” in my car when we travel. In the past 50 years, we’ve stopped to help accident victims a half dozen times. All 50 states have “Good Samaritan Laws” that exempt nurses (and perhaps doctors) from malpractice suits for providing roadside emergency medical care.
