Yes, we know lawyers are vultures. This shows how old Harvard is.

Comparing vultures to lawyers is an insult to vultures.

Unlike vultures, there are times when you are actually happy to see a lawyer.

I would say he also attacks hospital ER patients. You’d expect it of an IV leaguer.

Just remember what William Shakespeare once wrote, all you lawyer-haters: “Now then, first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers, and then we’ll have anarchy.”

It’s only a few fat-cat lawyers who make life miserable for the rest of the profession. Most of them are hard-working men and women who only want to see justice done for their clients – and not all of them drive BMWs and wear Armani suits and Rolex watches at work. As someone who worked as a litigation paralegal for 18 years (ten of which were spent assisting with personal-injury cases on the plaintiff’s side), I can tell you that anyone who thinks that lawyers have it easy never worked in a law office.

Most of the lawyers I’ve known have gotten out of the business. Too pedestrian, long hours, no satisfaction.

Considering Harvard was started as a seminary all I can say is you’ve come a long way (down) baby.

A dead rattlesnake and a dead lawyer on the highway. The only difference? There were skid marks in front of the snake.

Apterix aren’t extinct. They’re kiwis. They eat mostly insects, but they do also scavenge and catch small animals and fish.

I have worked for many attorneys over the past 40 years. While all those in the profession may not be perfect, as would apply for all professions, I have never known, met, or worked for attorneys such as is described by these comments. I challenge each and everyone posting negative comments to describe more specifically their less than honorable personal experiences with attorneys. Needless to say, I suspect most are parroting what they believe to be true in an effort to be cute and funny rather than speaking from personal experience. Shame on all of you for denigrating an entire profession, without which we would truly have anarchy. I venture to say that much of the negativity may truly result from the negative life experiences requiring the need for an attorney rather than the attorney him/herself.
