Not quite there yet. I always have some idea what’s in the box. Except when the amateur delivery people that work for that company now leave me with some of the neighbor’s stuff. Luckily, up until now, I’ve always noticed before opening the box.
I order basic stuff because it’s often cheaper plus I’m almost totally housebound so having access to online ordering & home delivery is a blessing for me. Haven’t ordered duplicate, always know what’s in the box, don’t drink much anymore, which is a good thing because, if I still did, the last two instances would be fairly frequent. :) :) :)
When QVC first debuted, my (first) husband and I went crazy with this great, new technology for shopping. (Can you say “Diamonique”?) We got ourselves into some debt buying stupid stuff. Easy to do, as their sales pitches were convincing and the new technology mesmerizing. Fast forward to today: New husband. New addiction: Amazon. The difference? Without a sales pitch, we only order what we need, rather than wasting time looking for it in retail stores. How easy. And cheaper than finding it in a brick and mortar. We rarely have to return anything and find exactly what we need. We don’t overspend or buy impulse things. And as we are getting older, it’s quite a convenience. Still need to buy clothing in “real” stores, though.
One time I ordered a wall clock…..three came…..one came broke, and sent it back, one I kept and the other sent back …what a timely ordeal….bug mistake Amazon…
I love our grocery store that delivers, since I’m disabled, it is a good thing. Still have to go to the other one though, they don’t stock all the same stuff.. argh.
And I love Afterpay! It’s been a lifesaver for buying things we need (ok, so I buy things I want too.. .I’m still blaming my sister-in-law for my recent Pop! addiction!)

I know a web site that sells ‘bags of crap’. People scramble to order them not knowing WHAT they will get.

I hope those aren’t listed in order of severity because I’m (seriously) already at the last stage!
