It had better come with a lovely display case and a certificate of authenticity…

I haven’t seen too many horseshoes lately. There always seemed to be one laying around here and there a few decades ago.

Skeezix shouldn’t give that horseshoe away to the museum. It’s a valuable piece of family history, more valuable to the family than to the army.

That’s OK. Let them advertise www.armyhistory.org. I don’t mind if they advertise www.armyhistory.org. In fact, I think advertising www.armyhistory.org is a good idea.

It’s fine to have a pet cause, to try to do something positive. Good for Jim for using his platform to educate and entertain.

You gotta be kidding. This is what it’s all been leading up to? I don’t mind another plug for the museum, but sheeeeesh….

Night-Gaunt49 I believe that show is Antiques Roadshow. They’ve had some really great stuff on it, one time it was something prehistoric. Anyway, it started on one of the BBC channels, migrated to PBS (like so many other Brit shows like Keeping Up Appearances. Dr Who, Tripods, Are You Being Served? and went from there to other odd channels and BBC America.
