If it was such a pet of suitable size I used to bury them in the yard in shoe-boxes. I never encountered a shoe-box looking that much like a casket like the one Squeaky is laying in state here.

But I wonder what was “humane” about that trap, when the mouse is now dead as a …mouse.

When they got the bill for the funeral services it read on the bottom of the receipt “thank you, please come again!”

Trust me….this hits closer to home than I like to admit. Our cat likes to leave “trophys” of her successful hunts in the driveway and if my wife finds them first…..

Good thing all his relatives didn’t show up for the reception after the funeral.

Sorry but when it comes to mice and rats I have no mercy if they come inside the house

Years ago, when I was very young, living in a tiny apartment, I found a mouse hovering in my hallway! I felt so sorry for it after looking into its sad, big eyes, I rounded it up in a paper bag and then let it go outside! This reminds me of that. Of course, nothing could stop it from possibly coming back in. Never saw another mouse in my residence to this day though.
