The flaw here is that it was implied that Hart knew nothing of the insurance money: “He was worried about income since she was the breadwinner.”

I knew it from day 1, I just didn’t want to spoil the story.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, Tracy, you’re not to blame for a badly written (if well-intentioned) story.

Wow, a whole gaggle of crime solvers following this strip. Time to move on to Inspector Danger’s Crime quiz. Retro art was good though.

Panel 1 is truly classic Pat and Tracy en route! The startled Mr. Hart probably naively thought he was going to get away with his murder/insurance fraud, until that dreaded knock on the door from the detectives. I hope the Sunday strip ties up the story in a neat bundle. I have enjoyed this Minit Mystery more than most….
