It makes me wonder what the coach was doing instead of paying attention. Was she watching someone else or was she asleep?

In high school, Father Timothy was our golf team coach. Nice guy, but he’d never, ever played golf. Needless to say, our freshman season involved a lot of prayer.

That woman is still sitting there after (at least) the 2nd attempt by Nancy?

An interesting Bushmiller / Nancy item for sale on eBay today. It has a “buy now” price of thirty dollars and a shipping charge of five dollars. It is a set of 308 b/w daily Nancy strips from 1949, clipped from an Atlanta newspaper. The condition is described in more detail than is usual on eBay, but suffice it to say there’s some better and some worse.

Anyhow, I thought someone here might enjoy seeing the ad or owning the clippings. I’m going to duplicate this post over on today’s Nancy Classics page too.
