Internationally, the kids are demonstrating and demanding actions. Routinely, some skip school on Fridays to demonstrate in front of government legislatures and offices. They are more clued in than their elders by a long shot.
Up until now, we as human beings, have survived because of our ability to build for the future… We built civilizations, great cities, great monuments so that we would not be forgotten by the future. Now the Legacy that we are leaving to our children and our grandchildren is… Extinction as a species… If we truly loved our children , if we truly cared about their well-being, … we would be and should be be doing more to ensure that they have the possibility of living a good life, a healthy life, a life that they want to pass on to their children and grandchildren???
