Now how come Michael never called his father"four eyes"? I call MY father “fellow four eyes.”

Somebody’s really asking for it…!

Michael is about to be grounded, and lose some privileges.

Somebody’s about to be grounded for the entire summer.

Oh no! It’s one thing to tease your sister, as brothers do it all the time but this hits below the belt. If I were the parents I’d give her permission to hit him ONCE. He has it coming!

That’s what brothers are for.

Kids will be kids. You can’t expect them to be something they are not.

Might as well get used to it, Liz. Your classmates will use it for a couple of weeks, before they get tired of it and go on the something else.

Would Michael enjoy the way he looked with his nose in a cast?

One punch where it’ll do the most good and he’ll never say it again.

And a hand should be hitting Michael on the back of the head about now.

Freedom of speech is a right that should be practiced with a bit more restraint. However, might as well get it over with.

If Mom and Dad can refrain themselves from smacking their smart-aleck child, they deserve all kinds of kudos!

This is a Mom fail. She should have gotten with Michael and clued him in to ask for his support = ideally with some incentive – extra movie money – skip a chore – etc. Michael is a jerk – but if he knew it would really upset her – not just joking to a get little rise out of her – He probably would have held his tongue.

It’s what big brothers are for.

Ten thousand people could say you’re pretty but it just takes one person to call you four eyes and you’ll take that and run with it

Big brothers…huh…good gawd…what are they good for…absolutely nothing.

My kids tease me about my readers, I calmly inform them that eye sight is controlled by genes. Readers are in their future as well.

Michael needs a good kick to the yarbles.
