That’s my view of my pension. The county where I worked treated its regular workers horribly, while lavishing on the political hacks. In retirement, they have reduced our medical and have gone after our pensions. So far, we’ve defeated them on the latter and are still in court on the former. I hope to collect enough on my pension to equal the number of years I worked there. So far, I’m nearly 1/3 of the way there. The main architect of the County’s depredations is the current CEO and I love hearing his teeth grind every time we hand him a defeat in court.
