No sense fighting it, a dog owner knows when they’ve been licked! Doesn’t work too well when humans do it though, especially when meeting new people.

It’s funny, but my two kids,(Aussie Shepherd mixes) going on 6 years old, have NEVER licked me, or anyone else that I can remember. It’s just something they don’t do… but they are still my big goofy furbabies!

Nope, conditions apply here too. You gotta feed him and love him and hug him and pet him and… Well, you need not call him George.

My dearly departed Scooby would give polite face licks to the adult humans. But kids and cats always got a full facial of licks and kisses!
