Of course, first he has to finish growing some, which is, naturally, going to take awhile, so you can imagine how busy he’s going to be with that. ;)
As for Dan, I’m of mixed opinions. On one end, I don’t want to see him go unpunished for his recent deeds, of course, but on the other, I can’t help but sympathize with his money predicament, knowing that he’s gonna be in deep trouble with that, potentially life-threatening, and overlooking that feels like…rubbing it in needlessly.
But then again, most of all of Dan’s predicament in the first place was of his own making (Shauna couldn’t have turned him in if he never had illegal drugs to incriminate him with), so…it ends up being a sort of a circle of uncertainty, who to blame here.
Maybe there’s some blame to be shared all around…I don’t know…
When Darren was considering taking the rings to the pawn shop before the wedding, he said he’d do it if a bird landed on a particular branch by the time he counted to ten. But Shauna came by and told him how proud she was he was trying to be better, and Darren didn’t see the bird he was looking for.
If he had seen the bird, if he had run off with the rings… well, Dan and Ella certainly wouldn’t have been happy about that, but Dan knows the circumstances, and likely would’ve at least understood and been willing to forgive him, and so would Ella. Blossom wouldn’t have mistaken his polite conversation for something more, wouldn’t have heard him call her plain and miserable, wouldn’t have told him Shauna sent him to jail. And Darren wouldn’t have trashed Shauna’s room in retaliation.
And all because Shauna caused him to not see a bird. (That bird really was foreshadowing…)

Nice company policy – we don’t care what you do as long as it’s “off company premises”

Well, Daz has not got long in this strip. Maybe they kept his old cell in the prison ready for his return.

I knew Dan would go psycho about this. Shauna is his princess.

Is the National Fight Board in the same building as the Ministry of Silly Walks?

Dan’s gonna wash that man right out of his hair. He must have a hair somewhere. And it’ll take a long time to wash.
