Heart: You ok? Dean: The first read is always unstable.
Yup, my point was proven yesterday.
I mainly read MAD for Spy vs Spy, but the other stuff is pretty funny too.
Cracked these days has MAD beat any day of the week.
Someone must have let the unhorse out of the unstable.
For some reason, I never thought MAD was funny. I was also the only kid I knew who didn’t like the Three Stooges, either.
What happened to “Dean might be moving”?
Nothing like the MAD magazines I grew up with in the late 50’s on up. But them again, the creator of MAD Magazine died, so I guess it’s not quite the usual bunch of idiots from Wall Street.
MAD jumped the shark when they started accepting REAL advertising. What… me have integrity?
DonVanni, if they didn’t accept real advertising they’d have to charge $10 per issue…CHEAP!
Perhaps the Sunday strip is like Non Sequitur – continuity only on Sundays with the rest of the week being a different story line.
I love those kinds of crack-ups. Don’t happen often.
I always started at the back with the Fold-in.
