There’s a restaurant in the Garden District of NOLA by the name of Pascal’s Manale, but I don’t remember anything about the water. I do remember they grate fresh horseradish daily for their condiment station. Chaud!
Learn a new word, use it twice. I looked it up. Using it may be a problem. Maybe I’ll stop in at a Catholic church today and ask if they want their aquaemanales filled for next Sunday. I could offer to dump a few rose radishes in them just to kill germs.
I avoid priests and their aquamanales, even if they are in the shape of a frog or monkey butt; actually, especially if they resemble any type of butt. Froglandia is my go-to for butts, and I trust priests about as far as I can throw Vlad. I am much more inclined to stop by Hoops Brewing in Duluth and have an Aquaman Ale while I sit on my butt and gaze out over Lake Superior.
Honestly, what I would really like to know is, which came first, the aquamanale or the gravy boat? My money is on the gravy. Gravy is a way easier sell than hygiene, and don’t get me started on priests. Besides, what need is there of hygiene if you first don’t get a little messy? Mmmmmmmm, graaaaavy…
I know it’s difficult, streaking dark-haired lass, but you can wash your hands at a commonplace sink these days. If your aristocratic upbringing included servants, aquamanilia, and silver basins besprinkled with rose petals, you will just have to adjust tp our more plebeian times. Froglandia does not discriminate, We offer all manner of radishes, including colorful spring varieties, but usually serve them in salads, not in wash-basins….
