Not so true if the bad news is what led to the funeral.

Why do some of the pop-out ads not go away when I click “close ad”?

I always hated the ‘Good news or bad news first?’ question. The good never out weighed the bad.

If he believed in an after life, he might be getting more bad news right now.

There’s a difference between important and urgent. But if you only deal with “urgent”, eventually the important stuff will finish you off. (On the other hand, if you don’t deal with “urgent”, you won’t get to “eventually”.)

Death. Terminal life is one of the items advanced species work on to extend it and perpetuate it to its highest form. They are also smart enough not to continue to reproduce willy-nilly. The first beginnings are coming clearer. But only partly. Diseases like Progeria and Werner’s Syndrome seem to affect aging in an accelerated rate. Mostly. So far it is unknown if the opposite has ever happened.
