For those who haven’t caught the reference here: roughly one-third of the Boston Red Sox turned down the ceremonial World Series champions’ visit to the White House yesterday, all black or latino. Manager Alex Cora refused to attend, citing Trump’s disgraceful handling of disaster relief in his home of Puerto Rico. Trump’s staff showed their typical competence with banners etc welcoming the “Red Socks” and calling them “World Cup Series” champions.
Just wait till later this year when Sarah Huckabee Sanders dresses up as the Scarlet Witch to honor the winner of “Stan Lee’s Cup.”
