I remember when I was in kindergarten, a kid came to school with a mohawk and they made him wear a scarf on his head for days……..and that’s about all I remember of kindergarten.
During WWII, American paratroopers (and other soldiers) used mohawk haircuts to intimidate the enemy. I couldn’t remember if teenage boys’ Mohawks preceded or followed the Elvis ducktail but they were both looked down upon by parents and schools.

My great grandson’s mother gave him a Mohawk and we all freaked….ugly Come on people, use common sense.
