Can somebody explain what’s with Hammy in the last panel?

Be nice to the butterflies. With the bee population declining, we need the butterflies to help pollinate plants.

Well regardless of the effect, there’s no doubt they got that butterfly to flap its wings. ;-)

We’re not having summer here. Ice on the outdoor dogs’ water this morning.

I feel for the poor butterfly! I get the butterfly effect all the time!

Perhaps the butterfly thought it was a mandarin.

He’s all aflutter.

Hammy just can’t unhear that. I don’t think those mushrooms are doing him any good!
