Monday morning, the cat woke me up; he was headbutting me and attempting to pull the blankets off me. A 13-pound cat trying to pull the blankets off you with his teeth is amusing, but not at 4 a.m.
Our dogs weren’t morning dogs, but several of our cats were. Our latest is a Time Nazi (AKA the Soup Nazi) and if we aren’t up when we should be, or in bed when we should be, she meows the house down until we get up, or go to bed!
We adopted a 6 year old Yorkie mix almost a month ago. She’s our Annie and even though she’s sixish, she still needs to go out in the middle of the night for potty breaks…bless her little bean sized bladder!
Poor Sophie, she’s got a lot of time to wait! She should run around in the living room for a while & take a nap…but that would mean she’d have to quit bothering mommy!
My folks have a cat who will do this to my mother every morning, begging to be let out. Real outdoors cat, her, especially now in the summer months, when the weather’s good.
No no Sophie that is not the time to discuss this! Luckily our furbabies when they got older never woke us at night…as puppies yes, but we expected it then.

Nope, nothing good about a ‘to early’ wake up call by any house beast.

Somebody needs to buy that dog a clock of her own.

Sophie: “Why do you naked apes need clocks to tell you when to do stuff? If you’re not doing stuff, there’s something wrong.”

Sorry. Animals have no sense of time.
