I believe, however, that the document he’s holding has the preamble to the Constitution, not the opening line of the Declaration of Independence.

On this day I prefer a non-partysan celebration.

Considering what we’re supposed to be celebrating, I wonder… how many of you will be reading the Declaration of Independence today, either privately or aloud at a public celebration?
