Romi told them to do the strip, or else… I wasn’t around to hear the “or else,” having decided that discretion (rapid retreat) was the better part of not being bobble-headed. But I wouldn’t surprised if “or else” was being Melvinized… or is that Melvinated?

Maybe a Doctor can drop in to give them a lift to the appropriate space-time zone to fix that little conundrum.

maybe she poofed the strip? In which case the character has become sentient and no longer owes her existence to a artist? There is a movie sequel to this but it escapes me.
