Trump didn’t like the message, so he shoots the messenger (in the middle of Fifth Avenue?)
Trump hires pollsters to help him strategize as to where his strengths are so he can build on them and where his weaknesses are so he can correct them, but when his own pollsters give him bad news about the reality of where he stands in public opinion, he fires his own pollsters.
If he were operating a coal mine and canaries started to die, he would fire them all.
And then, when questioned about it by reporters, he gaslights them by telling them that they did not see the poll results they really did see because he claims that they do not exist.
The man is either completely delusional and detached from reality or he believes sophisticated reporters are as gullible as the rabid crowds that fill stadiums chanting “lock her up” (in his 2020 official campaign kickoff in Orlando, Florida, Trump mentioned Biden once, no other 2020 Democratic candidate but mentioned Hillary’s name numerous times — if he wants to run against Hillary in 2020, one thing is sure, it will not be Hillary who gets inaugurated on January 20, 2021).
Americans should be happy that the trump does not (yet) have the power of.. say Kim Jong un where a mere clearing of ones throat at the wrong time (as in.. that’s another whopper) could get you shot.
The polls mean doo-doo until Nate Silver joins the mix. Scott Walker and Jeb Bush were the glamour boys at this stage in 2016. Dems better not relax, or cannibalize themselves
