Because of precession, we are slowly leaving the Age of Pisces and entering the Age of Aquarius. (Each ‘Age” lasts ~2100 years.) And the “dates” of all the zodiac constellations slowly shift accordingly.

Early scientist were observing the universe to try to figure out how things work & got tired of people asking why they cared about such, so they said it would let them tell the future. They proved it by foretelling eclipses. Love life & lottery numbers, not so much.
