National Pineapple Day. (I’m drinking pineapple orange juice right now. I guess that counts, right?)

National Onion Day (not for me – I can’ stand them!)

National Bomb Pop Day (and it’s supposed to get hot here, so it would be just the treat to enjoy – if you can eat it before it melts)

National Ice Cream Cake Day (same note as the Bomb Pops)

National Handshake Day (just don’t shake a hand that’s holding a Bomb Pop ’cuz that could be messy!)

“El Moggy”…..I love it! :D

Another sad death…..Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife Beth Chapman died yesterday. She had throat cancer two years ago and successfully overcame that. And recently it came back. So sad. She was a great woman and leaves 12 children plus grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Reminds me of one of the great stories in Watership Down – “Rowsby Woof and the Fairy Wog Dog”. A terriffic book I’ve read about 25 times.
