Generally I really enjoy this cartoon. I believe it has great jokes and characters I can relate to. But when they put this talking pelican in the strip, they just lose me. They have a good strip without the bird.

What dbarnes693 said is exactly right. So I’m voting peli-CAN’T here, since I can’t seem to be able to do it on the link posted above.

The pelican looks drawn differently today. Also, I thought his feathers were white.

We seem to have a disagreement here. Would those of you who are Pelican haters, be accepting of occasional strips with Pellie, for those of us who LIKE PELLIE?

    Is this Pellie’s cousin?

And I think today’s strip is funny!

    Dry - I think it’s funny too.

    Well done!

I, too, thought the pelican was white, maybe he’s just dirty.

The pelican’s fat because he hasn’t been working for a month. Wait! No! I did not just suggest that you use the pelican more!

I love the pelican, however he’s portrayed. You pelican haters need to go away! He may be hefty because he’s a plumber-at least no plumber crack joke with a bird!

Maybe his pelicans were stained white because of the chemicals that were meant to break the oil up, now the chemicals are out… And all domesticated animals gain a little weight, but that doesn’t mean you can call them fat… sigh no is going to read this comment anyways
