That was so bad it got the face-palm with the ear treatment!

Let’s pause for a moment to reflect on Rover’s observation in Panel 1. I refer you to @mb’s important and timely reminder (posted yesterday) about keeping your dogs in the house or confined to a safe, secure area when fireworks are being discharged. If at all possible, stay home with them to provide comfort. As @mymontana always says, “Love and hugs.”

We don’t like fireworks either here in the Paradise Valley. Fire hazards are always there. Wind and fire can be devastating!

What do you call a fast moving bunny with hydrophobia?

A rapid, rabid, rabbit.

My dog hates fireworks. Always did. It’s a bit better now since she’s old and deaf. Still bothers her though – I think she can still “feel” them.

My Peekapoo and Shih Tsu go CRAZY during the fourth. I just have to prepare for little sleep that night!
