I fear the weight gain has made Mortimer lethargic. Sockness should enjoy these moments while he can. When Mortimer does lose the weight (and Joe too, hopefully!), it’s back to being mauled alive as usual.
So the Sockness Monster returns after being swallowed whole by Mortimer? I can think of three possible methods of escape, one being surgery. The others are by the way he entered Mort’s tummy and the more “traditional” method of leaving the tummy, neither of which would be pleasant for the dog. And would Mom approve of it being in the bath with the kids after where it’s been?
