Wallace, take my advice: It’s one thing to be brave, but it’s another thing to be foolish.

Is that a cloud raining on Wallace’s head ala Bad Luck Schleprock from the Flintstone’s?!

“What I remember most about high school are the memories I created with my friends.” J. J. Watt

“You don’t have to have anything in common with people you’ve known since you were five. With old friends, you’ve got your whole life in common.” Lyle Lovett

“As a matter of self-preservation, a man needs good friends or ardent enemies, for the former instruct him and the latter take him to task.” Diogenes

“Your days are short here; this is the last of your springs. And now in the serenity and quiet of this lovely place, touch the depths of truth, feel the hem of Heaven. You will go away with old, good friends. And don’t forget when you leave why you came.” Adlai Stevenson I

“Good books, like good friends, are few and chosen; the more select, the more enjoyable.” Louisa May Alcott

“He makes no friends who never made a foe.” Alfred Lord Tennyson

“The one thing I’ve always said: Let your family and close friends be the judge of who you are as a person. Don’t worry about being judged by others who don’t know you, because your family and close friends know what you’re all about, good and bad.” Rick Pitino

This comic has a special place in my heart. I rewrote it many times, even swapping the character’s dialogue. It seemed more Spud at first, but when I went with Wallace it made me realize that Wallace’s only fear is letting down his friends

Did someone read one of the “Dune” prequels? Some of those had “brains-in-terrifying-mobile-mechanical-beasts” as characters.
