For me, “camping”, roughing it, living off the land, is staying in a motel with no vending machines on my floor!

“My idea of roughing it is waiting 30 minutes for room service not feeding a jadgschwader of hungry mosquitoes”, said the The Mrs.

“Camping” means you can’t get there in a car.

If someone tells me they don’t like camping, I figure that means they don’t know how (although I will admit, it’s kinda hard to get out of a warm sleeping bag when it’s -5°F outside……..)

I used to love camping when I was younger and had children at home. I would still go, but do not have the gear to do it anymore.

I haven’t camped since I was in Boy Scouts. I never got the allure.

I had a boss who told us if we liked living in a tent to join the Army.
