Also, I was pretty much spot-on about ‘Al’ getting jealous. ✨❤️✨

This could be setting up for a great, emotional payoff soon. I hope so.

Because he has no clue that he’s been talking to one for weeks….

I think it’s time for the Big Reveal. The charade has gone on long enough.

He’s built like a brick house, yet his confidence goes down like a house made of straw, and Ellie is the unwitting Big Bad Wolf.

I’m surprised Ellie didn’t assume Hubbs is trying to bring other girls into their “relationship”. She has a dirty mind after all. XD

“Still playing the field”? Ellie when was the last time you saw him with another woman? As far as you know you have a faithful “boyfriend”.

Hubbs, listen to the voice, no bass and pitched a little higher (unless you are tone deaf).

Playing the field Ellie? Really? You are way more ‘blonde’ that I thought. You are up there with those bar hopping teasers or ‘little girl’ highschoolers.

Hubbs, gather the courage and go ask Sedine what you should do to get Ellie?

Careful. If you stretch out the plot for too long without going anywhere, the stipend will turn into a Luann clone.

C’mon Hubbs, are you made out of glass. A big tough football guy like you? The proper response to panel 4 for should of been “why not”?

We know Ellie has a thing for Hubbs and perhaps that motivated Ellie’s response in the fourth panel. Still, it may have been better for her to have followed Will Rogers’s advice when he said, “Never miss a good chance to shut up.”

The pathways of the heart are mysterious indeed…sometimes, as with Hubbs and El/Al, the path leads down a rabbit hole of clueless stupidity

It’s worth noting that the first panel is priceless. Easy to get caught up in the latest miscommunication and miss the riotous laughter of Charlene and Sedine. Like us, they are in on the gag. Watch ’em laugh…and see how long it takes before you yourself are chuckling out loud.

Until “inSecurity”, this was merely GOCOMICS…. now, it is GLOcomics!

Just a thought – Al could help teach him how to talk to Ellie!

Wow! Today’s strip really puts the insecurity into “In Security.” I didn’t laugh. I felt insecure. The art is beautiful and the storytelling evocative.

Playing the field? You would think Al would know if the Hubbs was still out on the football field…

I am new here and don’t see Al on the cast list. Am I correct in thinking Hubbs mistakes Al for a guy or…?
