I have a similar retirement plan to Kendra. If I triple my savings rate and work part time after I retire I can afford to retire at age 78, assuming we don’t have another era of super high inflation and non-existent wage gains like back in the 1970’s, in which case I will have to wait until I’m old to retire. My personal retirement plan is to commit a serious crime when I can’t work any more and can’t pay my bills/rent and let the government house and feed me until I die.

“Kendra had never really gotten around to starting a retirement plan.”
Not even Social Security? She must work for the government.

Unfortunately the government is starting to release old sick prisoners who they deem too feeble to do any more harm to society.

As a retired financial adviser, I wish I had thought of this strategy when advising clients that didn’t feel the need to save!

High inflation and stagnant subsistence wages is when you must invest everything into the market. That is how they got rich.

I suggest you change your name and identity to Zuckerberg. He will be distracted for a while and not notice.

I just stay drunk. Maybe I’ll get run over by a bus.
