I remember camping when we had borrowed sleeping bags and slept under the stars in a campground. Amazing when you hear the pitter patter of 4 little feet going by on the way to the garbage cans and then the clanging as one tips over.
Back when I was airplane crazy I used to tent camp at EAA’s Camp Scholer to be able to make the most of Oshkosh. I hated tent camping and it rained at least once every time but … so many planes within walking distance, and Bratwurst too!!!

Nothing beats a hired caravan on a holiday on the continent. The Mrs and the daughters prefer this type of camping.

A bad day camping still beats a good day at work, hands down.
