I’m sorry. Today’s strip left a bad taste in my mouth.

Guess they won’t need appetizers.

Apparently the local tribes were in contact with the Party, but for some dark reason they chose not to trust them.

I’d like some of the long pork butt, but please slather it in barbecue sauce.

I bet a few people with the last name Donner will get copies of the cartoon.

Why are they at a restaurant? Will they order off the menu?

There actually is a “Donner House” restaurant near Donner Pass. We didn’t stop to see who was on the menu.

One guy must LOVE rump roast !!!!!lol

They must be dining at the Alferd Packer Restaurant & Grill.

They were party animals, that’s for sure.

That’s a comic strip I can really sink my teeth into.

With the digital age and those paging devices, life has become a little less fun.

One of my very favorite things to do when dining out with a group is to give the name “Donner” to the person handling the waiting list.

Crowded waiting area, people milling about and a voice comes over the speaker. "Donner, party of 6, Donner, party of 6.

There is the amusing sound of necks popping as the few people in the room who get it whip their heads around in surprise. It is the little things in life that bring richness to the experience.

I always heard it as, “Donner! Party of 8! (ate)”

They least they could have done was to disrobe and marinate a bit first for taste…
