There’s a saying among skiers that little kids never get hurt taking chances because they’re closer to the ground and don’t fall as far. Maybe that applies to riding bikes too.
I never could get a hang on how to ride my bike without using my hands though I wanted to back then. Now I see kids do that all the time and keep thinking how dangerous that is. I am glad I never learned how.

Did you decide to try it again while sailing down a steep incline at 40 MPH?

I know a spot where I did run down an incline with no hands on the bars. The last time I was through there it was barely safe to drive through.
