Ah, living in France. Some years ago, my brother and sister-in-law were visiting for the first time. An old dude couldn’t get his car started, so we gave him a push. As he waved his thanks out the window, when driving away, my sister-in-law, imitating Rosy the Riveter, gave the guy the French sign for f*€# you! My wife and I explained why the old dude drove off shaking his head, and she helplessly tried to shout, in English, uselessly, ”No, I was just showing my muscles!”

Sorry, but I can not recommend it. It did not capture the essence of what the author was saying in the original Portuguese.

I only read the director’s cut of most comic strips. Except Garfield, of course.

I don’t have time for all the added sh**. Just lemme read the ordinary strip, okay?
I don’t believe in “auteur” directors as being such a big deal….
