    Actually, Nancy, you do still have to be worried about protecting the garden. The birds will scare away any humans who might have picked veg from the garden (including Aunt Fritzie; we know you wouldn’t want any of that stuff yourself), but the birds will still continue to forage there for bugs to feed their young. Meaning the garden will still be torn up. On the other hand, at least the basketball arc has finally ended…
