Well that could have gone better. Yep.

You know what’s really cool? Having power, mountains of money and influence over people. Miles and Kevin have none of those things, and probably never will. Are they cool with that?

Yep, this is playing out pretty much as expected.

Of course, if you wait long enough, say about 30 or 40 years, and go to a class reunion, it is amazing how all the cool kids are not happy with how their life has gone while the weird ones generally are much more comfortable with how their life has unfolded. Sustaining “coolness” requires a lot of energy and following the crowd while those who are weird do what makes them happy and gives them joy.

What’s so great about being cool? Dead people are cool, Why would I wish to be like dead people?
