Forget the furnace – on a day like this,you need the AC (I know this is possibly a rerun from a winter month). Arriving home from work Friday night – 10:30 pm – the temperature (not the heat index – the actual temperature) was still 86° F. I could handle that as the daytime high if it wasn’t too humid, but this is too much even for me! It’s extremely rare that it gets too hot for me.

July 20 is:

National Moon Day. If you can see it with the clouds. Yes, I know there’s another kind of “moon”, but I don’t think they’re talking about THAT.

National Strawberry Rhubarb Wine Day. I don’t drink wine and strawberries and rhubarb are out of season now.

We are supposedly on the last day of a heat wave here. With the humidity factored in, the temperature will be about 100F. Hubby refuses to turn on the a/c, but the fan does keep us nice and cool as long as we sit next to it, which we do constantly.

I still don’t know what Tad did to get banned.

My body is probably 85% recovered from my fall on Tues. My left leg/thigh is still sore but I can move a lot easier. Same for my right shoulder / upper arm area. Only my right rib cage hurts now and even that’s not much.

Yesterday my arm hurt when it was hanging down by my side (it must have been pulling on a muscle or tendon) and I thought a sling would be nice but I sure wasn’t going to the doc to get one. So, I did a MacGyver – I used one of Brads’ t-shirts. I put my head thru the neck hole and my arm up thru the bottom and out of the left arm hole. It worked just fine.

Went to a classic car show today. Has a great time looking at all the old cars. My Uncle had a car there. (A Chevelle.)
