Tipperary is a town and a civil parish in County Tipperary, Ireland.

It’s hard to find a Rarry to tip.

That song, “Pack Up Your Troubles,” and a couple of sad songs were played by Schroeder.

Well Snoopy, since this trip is all in you imagination, you can just imagine that you’ve arrived at your destination and enjoy a Guinness at the local pub.

I remember this one in one of the old Holt, Rinehart and Winston anthologies and not getting it at all. I was a kid and never heard of the town or the song.

A U-boat crew could have told you that.

WHAT? Today’s 1972 Sunday strip was to have been the Joe Eskimo strip but instead we get a 1960’s Sunday strip?

Being a former aviator, I like Snoopy’s WW I Flying Ace persona.

WW I: the first of the “Wars to end all wars” over a century ago.

We almost had the War to End All Wars in 1983 when the Soviets became convinced that they were going to be attacked and almost countered with their own first strike. Even closer to the end than we were from the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Rarie’s are difficult to find too.

Maybe a walking distance would be better for little doggy.

It’s a long way to go.

I didn’t see him crossing the English Channel, then crossing the English countryside to the Welsh countryside, then the Welsh countryside to St. George’s Channel, crossing there to Ireland and then crossing the Irish countryside to Tipperary.
