Jackie: What's the matter dicky? Dicky: It's a scary world out there, Jackie. Dicky: Kidnappers, drunk drivers, bullies...The sheer number of the things that could harm the kids on any given days is overwhelming. Jackie: Sure it's scary. But you do what you can to keep them safe and try not to go nuts over what you can't control. Speaking of the which-where are the kids ? Dicky: Goddammit- I left'em in the car. Jackie: It's a scary world in here too I guess !

Three days after this strip posted, a father in New York lost his twin one year olds by leaving them in the car as he went to work. You can see the grief in his face as he was charged in court. This is the purest form of tragedy.
