Yuck. I avoided minivans like the plague. Never liked the look, never liked their low ground clearance, and they are really difficult to work on if you do your own mechanic work. When the kids were small and we had dogs, it was suburbans all the way. My 2 favorites were a gorgeous 1990 lifted one and a 1997 with a 454 engine.
Don’t knock it, Brian. I recently purchased an accessibility enhanced minivan to drive my wheelchair bound wife around. I’ve driven a full sized van earlier in my life. what a world of difference.

That’s the spirit, Brian. Be what you are. Inhabit your life.

It’s funny the number of people who drive the official soccer mom vehicle (SUV’s) trying to avoid that and failing miserably.

I eventually sold our minivan and bought something much cooler, a Subaru station wagon! Well, at least it had a manual transmission.

It’s not the age that requires a minivan, it’s your baggage …..
