Dino version of the virgin birth?

That’s a solution from an earlier time, i.e., don’t just not handle a personal problem. Turn it into two new ones.

Very strange strip today. I guess I’m the only one who thought of an old-time melodrama where the villainous landlord throws the young mother out into the cold because she can’t pay the rent and won’t marry him (or whatever.)

If the dates on the strips are correct, then this would possibly be the start of a new week’s series that will give greater context. The previous day’s was the two ants talking about happiness and doesn’t seem to have anything to do with this one the following day. Lots of assumptions being made before anyone knows what’s going on here.

Somehow, I can’t blame Johnny Hart for leaving this out of the B.C. books. It’s not really that funny.
