Even Calvin’s mother once saw Calvin’s teacher Miss Wormwood at the grocery store (might’ve been small talk between to ladies, but Calvin assumed teachers slept in coffins all summer).

Wow, a day of intrigue, espionage and a failed rocket launch; Dill’s is a life of adventure.

I got a better one. On the day that I got my license to drive, I got into a fender bender [my fault] with my Spanish teacher. When she recognized me, it was “You! You! >>sputter sputter<<!”

Oh, Beni, future soccer star, that particular rocket will never get to Mars, even if you put lots of coins in it, but it will shake you up enough that you will begin to wonder whether or not you really did see Miss Bliss. That is, Dill will begin to wonder. Actually, Dill always wonders….
