    Aww! You can almost see the young girl in Grandma Olwen, peeking out, when she’s bright-eyed and/or smiling!

    I didn’t really expect to find “schimba” in a search, but I never should have doubted.

    It’s in Wiktionary as a Romanian verb: Verb: a schimba (third-person singular present schimbă, past participle schimbat) 1st conj. (transitive) to modify, to alter; (reflexive) to change; to exchange.
