Actually, she’s probably where she should be since she’s likely talking to a different set of people than those who read this comic.

I;m trying to put myself in the mind of a 6th district of Minnesota voter who, with an actual choice, be it the primary or election, can actually vote for this person to continue to represent them in the U.S. congress.

nope, can’t do it. It’s too dark, scary and insane in there

    Nighthawks:

Imagine the poor 6th district residents that despise Bachmann and are as bewildered as you are. Seems as if stupidity does trickle down to the masses. The dumber you are and the more lies that you tell, the more fools you will convince.

Bachmann, Palin and Angle should compete for the Beavis and Butthead award. It may take years to decide who deserves the award most.

From The New York Times, dated Feb 6 1990:

“Mr. Obama was elected after a meeting of the review’s 80 editors that convened Sunday and lasted until early this morning, a participant said.

Until the 1970’s the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. Among these were Elliot L. Richardson, the former Attorney General, and Irwin Griswold, a dean of the Harvard Law School and Solicitor General under Presidents Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard M. Nixon.

That system came under attack in the 1970’s and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition. The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review.

Harvard, like a number of other top law schools, no longer ranks its law students for any purpose including a guide to recruiters.”

    From http://wiki.answers.com/Q/WhatwereBarackObama%27sgrades_in_college

“Barack Obama has not released transcripts for his grades from Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard Law. He has also not released his SAT and LSAT scores. No explanation has been offered for not releasing them.

Per the Wall Street Journal September 11, 2008, “Obama’s Lost Years,” Obama graduated from Columbia University (to which he transferred after his first two years at Occidental College in California), with a degree in Political Science without honors, so had a GPA less than a 3.3. His roomate Sohale Siddiqi indicated Obama itially felt alienated, felt “very lost,” and used drugs to get high, which could have led to low grades initially. The roomate indicates that he then turned serious and “stopped getting high.” Obama transferred to Columbia because he was concerned with urban issues. Based on his overall undergraduate GPA of less than a 3.3, Mr. Obama’s admission to Harvard Law School may reflect affirmative action statutes, low grades early, then higher grades later (purely speculation) and/or other factors.

At Harvard Law School, Obama graduated Magna bleeep Laude, which, according to the Havard Law School website, is awarded to the top 10% of Harvard Law School students.

Also at Harvard Law School, Obama was accepted as one of 85-90 Editors of the Harvard Law Review, out of an estimated 1,000 students from the 2L and 3L classes that might have sought this honor. Obama was also elected President of the Law Review, which according to a Harvard Law spokesperson is not based at all on academics, but on other measures as would occure in any club.”

Yes, Obama is a smart guy, but he’s no Felix Frankfurter

Many believe this country is going to hell, but maybe it has already arrived there.

Obama was good in school. That doesn’t mean he has common sense, or that his policies are good for the country.

In Bachmann’s defense, there were two cameras, one for the Web broadcast of the sponsoring organization, and one for the networks. She looked at one and looked slightly silly on the other. A learning experience.

    Plus she was right.

Actually, that toon was kinda funny, too. And not as offensive as the last couple, too. As was NOLA’s original point decent.
