I’ve never BELIEVED, even for a moment, that American astronauts landed on the moon, or that the Earth is round either. I just accept that, based on the pile of objective facts and analysis of those facts, those statements are true.
It might also shock you to know that Edison didn’t invent the light bulb. He bought the patent from two brothers that invented it, and just came up with a marketable version.
If only the history books had even that much “excitement” to them then maybe kids would actually enjoy the subject a little bit. (Though James W. Loewen still may not approve…)
