And with a strained marriage, all kinds of things enter a person’s mind. That is what I meant about taking 2 people to break a marriage up. Most affairs are not triggered in a vacuum. But when women read that I get flamed. I will probably get flamed again. I will be blunt. If a guy strays for sex ONLY, it is likely he is not getting any, or enough at home, whereas maybe he used to. Now there are other outlets for that that do not involve cheating, ( I will not go into detail) I had a friend who had a wife that had issues and was no longer interested. She was 42, but she objected not only to the obvious but ANYTHING else. You get my point. ( think of THE BET on Seinfeld) After a couple of years he had a one time thing, after which he decided to get divorced. His wife was not sick. He had not gotten fat, he was still nice to her, but she was no longer interested in physical intimacy. So when I say it takes to to make it work, it DOES take 2 to break it up. YES , the final straw may be one or the other doing something rash, but the seeds were planted a lot earlier, by someone.
