It hurts me so bad to tell you all this. My kitty died. The vet said he was doing well but some of the bites on his back opened up and he couldn’t be saved. My heart is broken and I cannot stop crying. It might seem silly to be so sad about a kitty I never got to meet, but I loved him the minute I saw him. I was so eager to meet him and help him get better. He must have been so scared when that dog attacked him and it must have hurt so bad. I cannot get that picture out of my head. I have a huge lump in my throat and my eyes won’t stop leaking. He is safe now and not in pain anymore and maybe he is playing with my orange stripey boy Butterbean. He looked so much like him. I know I won’t hurt like this forever, but it doesn’t feel like it now. Rest in Peace my little angel.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. I had a very nice birthday. My sister, Mary called me, as did 3 of my 6 brothers and my cousin Becky. I went to a picnic in Black Earth to remember the flood from last year and I enjoyed the food and talking with people who were affected by the flood. I made Rice Krispies bars and quite a few people ate them, even though somebody else also brought some. Someone provided a bunch of Hershey bars and marshmallows so we could have s’mores. Channel 27 was there for quite a while, filming the picnic and talking to people (it was just one guy, but that’s more than the other stations did). Then I loafed around the rest of the day. It was a beautiful day outside once the early morning showers went away. All in all, a peaceful, nice day. Only 5 days of vacation left! It’s going way too fast!
Loved the paper thief, as well as all the guys loving up the cats/kittens. Real men can be cat lovers, also. Great choices today, Bbear. Thanks a lot for you daily efforts.
Love today’s comic. Heartwarming and funny at the same time. :) It’s nice to see someone being loved and appreciated, especially if it’s by someone as sweet as Oliver. On another note, saw a robin while out walking today.
