I wonder how they hold their cards when they don’t have any thumbs? Oh yeah – I keep forgetting that this is a cartoon and anything is possible in cartoons.

Today is:

National Senior Citizen’s Day. At age 61, I qualify for this in some places – like yesterday when I played mini golf, I got the senior citizen discount.

Congressional Startup Day.

I’m just surprised the cats aren’t playing Fizzbin! It would be the perfect game for cats.

Not a friendly outcome with Ches and Lily sitting together. We are off to Laguna again to visit with Craig’s other sister. Long drive but excellent food and a lovely private beach await us for a few days.

Of course they miss you Annie, especially at breaktime!!!

“Omaha”?? Has Chesney been talking to Peyton Manning? (If you aren’t a football fan or Peyton Manning fan, you will have NO idea what I am talking about! LOL!)

Go to sleep, Annie, they are doing just fine.

Old kitchen countertops and sink taken off yesterday. Surprises seen (hidden electrical junctions, wires coming out of the wall doing nothing, cabinets that were only cabinet fronts, water shutoff valves that won’t shut the water off completely.) The new countertops come today at noon and the plumber comes tomorrow to hook the sink back up. Stress levels building.

I am a little ashamed to admit that the only card game I know how to play is Go Fish. On another note, I have been looking after my sister and brother in law’s dogs today. They’re good dogs for the most part, but they can be a bit rambunctious.
