    I have a dachshund, a cat, and a chiwennie, I removed the the three steps into my kitchen and replaced them with a carpeted ramp. I also built two portable carpeted ramps that are 12" wide, and approximately 5’ in length.

    One of those two portable ramps is at the foot of the bed, and the other is to one side of the living room, and provides access to the loveseat that functions as a couch.

    Both the couch and the bed have cloth waterproof covers on them. Nice ones that are comfortable to sit on, not plastic. Wetness and pet hair need not apply.
